Quick Tips:
Keep your eyes focused on the target until you KNOW where it was hit. This will help tremendously when tracking!
A peep sight helps head angle & ensures string alignment.
Once you've developed good form, "kisser buttons" can be added to ensure head angle & draw length.
Experiment with high/low shoulder positions as well as high/low wrist positions. Use what is most natural and comfortable.
Draw with your shoulders pressing together so your string hand can relax.
Once you have the shot - hold it for a 3-count & let that image burn into your mind.
Aim and the bullseye consistantly and tweak the bow if arrow groupings are off. (The goal is to group arrows.)
Try different anchor points & stick with the most comfortable and natural one!
Target shooting proficiency doesn't always translate exactly to the hunting scene.
Every problem encountered is actually a chance for improvement.
Good archery is 95% mental.
Target precision is important but tracking is more so.
Advice should be followed closely, not blindly.
Shower to eliminate your sent.
